Preparing for the testnet
1. Add the Berachain Artio Network to Metamask:
Network - Berachain Artio

Network ID - 80085
Currency Symbol - BERA
Block Explorer URL - https://artio.beratrail.io/
2. Get testnet BERA tokens in one of the faucets: 1, 2, 3, 4 (they may not work temporarily).
Information:
Berachain has 3 tokens: BERA, BGT, Honey.
- BERA is the network token used to send transactions on the blockchain, which is why it's sometimes called the "gas token." It's what pays for the transaction's gas.
- BGT is a governance token.
- HONEY is the stablecoin of Berachain.
How to Get BGT:
BGTcan be accumulated by performing certain actions in authorized dApps. Some examples include:
- Depositing liquidity in the native BEX for an LP pair that is earning BGT emissions
- Borrowing HONEY on BEND
- Providing HONEY in the bHONEY vault for BERPS
BEX - Berachain’s Dex
1. Go to the website and connect your wallet:
2. Swap some BERA tokens for HONEY and stgUSDC. Make a few swaps to show activity.
3. Open the "Pool" tab. Select the pool you want to add liquidity to and click "Add". Enter the desired amount and confirm the transaction.
Mint HONEY
1. Go to the HONEY website and connect your wallet:
2. Mint HONEY tokens with the stgUSDC tokens you swapped in the previous step:
BEND - Supply/Borrow
1. Go to the BEND website, connect your wallet and click "Borrow Honey":
2. Supply HONEY tokens in the supply window.
3. In order to borrow HONEY, you need to supply WBTC/WETH tokens. These can be exchanged on the BEX exchange (we have discussed it above) for BERA tokens. Supply WBTC/WETH and click "Borrow". Confirm the transaction.
BERPS - leverage trading
1. Go to the BERPS website, connect your wallet and open the "Berpetuals" tab
2. Trade different assets using leverage. The more transactions you make, the better!
3. Next, open the "Vault" tab, enter the deposit amount in HONEY tokens and click "Approve HONEY". Confirm the transaction. In return, you will receive $bHONEY tokens.
BGT Station
After completing all the previous steps, some time later you will be able to claim BGT tokens. They can be delegated on BGT Station.
1. Go to the website and connect your wallet.
2. Select the validator you want to delegate BGT tokens to and click "+".
3. Enter the amount to delegate and click "Confirm". Sign the transaction.
